Salvation
A new beginning with God
Wherever you are, whatever you've done, God's love reaches you today. Here is how you can receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
What Is Salvation?
Salvation is God's gift of grace through Jesus Christ. It is the forgiveness of our sins and the beginning of a personal relationship with God. No one is saved by good works, religion, or personal effort. We are saved by faith in Jesus Christ alone.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
Ephesians 2:8
Why Do I Need Salvation?
The Bible teaches that all have sinned and fall short of God's perfect standard. Sin separates us from God, but Jesus came to restore that relationship through His death and resurrection.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23
How Can I Receive Jesus?
- 1
Acknowledge that you are a sinner and need God's forgiveness.
- 2
Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again on the third day.
- 3
Repent and turn your heart to God.
- 4
Invite Jesus to be the Lord and Savior of your life.
- 5
Trust Him and decide to follow Him every day.
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9
Prayer of Salvation
If you are ready, you can pray this prayer from your heart:
Jesus, I come to You today acknowledging that I am a sinner and that I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again.
I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart. Be my Lord, my Savior, and my King. I give You my life and choose to follow You. Thank You for loving me, forgiving me, and making me a new creation.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
